Doug McGee
Business Manager / Financial Secretary Treasurer

Doug McGee is a native Houstonian and is a graduate of
Houston St. Thomas High School, Class of 1981. Doug began
his career in the trade as a helper in January 1982 with the
Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 54. He went on to complete
a 4 year apprenticeship in 1986, working in the shop and in
the field for HVAC contractors. Doug was appointed Local
54 Organizer in July of 1994 and served in this capacity for
six years. In July 2000, he was elected Business
Representative and in January 2001 he was elected Business
Manager/Financial Secretary Treasurer of the Local Union. He
currently serves and holds office in the following
organizations: President of Houston Gulf Coast Building and
Construction Trades Council, Secretary-Treasurer of
Southwest District Council of Sheet Metal Workers, Executive
Board Member of Harris County AFL-CIO Council, Executive
Board Member of Texas State Building & Construction Trades
Council and Supervisory Committee Member of Union Fidelity
Federal Credit Union.
Stanley Bordovsky
Business Representative / Houston Area

Stan attended four years of apprenticeship from 1971 to
1975. Served on Apprentice Committee, Labor Committee, Trial
Committee, Grievance Committee, Contract Negotiations,
Delegate to the General Convention, Warden, Local Trustee,
Executive Board, Vice President, President and Business
Representative. Delegate to the Houston Gulf Coast Building
Trades Council, delegate to the Harris County AFL-CIO
Council, delegate to the Texas AFL-CIO Council, member Texas
AFL-CIO Committee on Political Education.
Trey Berryman
Business Representative / Beaumont Area

Trey Berryman started his career in sheet metal in 1984
in SMW Local No. 196 as a first year apprentice and turned
out in 1988. He is a second generation sheet metal worker,
who grew up seeing the benefits of his dad being a member of
the Union. The Sabine Area Sheet Metal Apprentice School
hired Trey as the welding instructor in 2000, and later that
year he earned his CWI (Certified Welding Inspector). He
taught apprentices in welding techniques for four years at
the Sabine Apprenticeship School until January, 2004 at
which time he was appointed Local 54 Organizer for the
Sabine area. In August of 2006, Trey was elected to the
position of Business Representative for the Beaumont &
Orange jurisdiction. In addition, Trey serves as Recording
Secretary of the Sabine Area Building & Construction Trades
Council.
Billy Kenyon
Local Organizer / Houston Area

Billy Kenyon has been a proud union member since
graduating from high school in 1979. He spent 12 years in
the Auto Industry as a United Auto Worker with General
Motors before starting his career in the Sheet Metal
Industry. Billy served his four year apprenticeship after
starting as a helper in 1992. He became a journeyman in
January 1997 and was also awarded Outstanding Apprentice
that year. Billy was appointed Local Union 54's
Organizer/Marketing Representative in October 2000. He is
the current chairman of the Gulf Coast Building Trades
Organizing Committee and is the political coordinator
working with the AFL-CIO to elect Labor friendly candidates.
Anthony DeMary
Local Organizer / Beaumont Area, E-Board Pos. #4

Tony DeMary is a second generation metal worker who was born
in Jennings, Louisiana. His dad, Robert DeMary, a Local 54
retiree, moved the family to Texas in 1964. Tony graduated
from Port Neches-Groves High School in 1981 and became a
sheet metal apprentice in July of the same year. He
completed his apprenticeship in 1985 and later became an
instructor in 2000. Tony was elected to Executive Board
Position No. 4 in 2006 and January 2007 he was appointed
Local Organizer, representing the Beaumont/Orange
jurisdiction.
